The world is conditioned to bind you to certainty

With the rise in consumer culture, comes the desperate need for certainty

Even though we see empires and family dynasties starting from uncertainty

They’ve fed this world the reality that they offer certainty,

Deep down, you’re destined for abundance but the ground realities grab you down,

Force you to stare at your purchased and debt-induced lifestyle,

The same lifestyle which is adorned by your certainty-craving peers,

And as you show off your fancy possessions whilst bragging about your certainty,

There are success stories who flex only their freedom and brag not of their belongings,

In the end, we cling further to our possessions that mark our certainty,

While true freedom sides with those who, from the very start, chose uncertainty.
